Imagine the power of a million years condensed into a warm silky salt crystal. Dry warmed to its core and used on the back to gently massage and soothe away accumulation of stress, tension and pollutants.
Himalayan salt crystals contain 84 natural organic minerals and nutrients which through osmosis, enter the skin and circulatory system creating healing from within.
The minerals help to alkalize the body’s pH, and to balance the electrolytes, helping to maintain a healthy immune system. They help to ground and balance the body's electromagnetic field, central nervous system and meridians. The salt crystals have tremendous healing properties and promote deep relaxation, reduce inflammation, improved sleep, improved nervous disorders as well as an overall improved sense of well-being. Exfoliating, Moisturizing, Mineralizing & Gently Detoxifying - They leave your skin feeling radiantly alive and the muscles deeply relaxed.
Feel the energy of the 250 million year old mineral salt stones as you enjoy this gentle massage!
Raindrop Technique incorporates calming, energizing, and soothing (Young Living) essential oils with traditional massage practices. The result of correctly applying the Raindrop Technique results in energy alignment, stress relief, and the harmonious balance of every system in the body.
Raindrop Technique is the result of combining ancient Lakota wisdom with the latest in essential oil research. By integrating gentle massage sequences with specific essential oils, Young Living created an experience that balances energy, releases toxins, and facilitates open energy flow throughout the body.
The Raindrop Technique, developed by Dr. Gary Young, N.D. and a Lakota medicine man almost two decades ago, uses a sequence of nine highly immune enhancing essential oils. They are dropped like rain from a height of about 6 inches onto the spine and then lightly massaged in using various hand to body techniques. This stimulates energy impulses and disperses the oils along the nervous system throughout the entire body.
We all carry immune system depleting viruses and bacteria. Essential oils applied to the spinal column are absorbed through the nerves that feed the entire body. Wonderfully soothing, nurturing and relaxing, the Raindrop Technique can work its benefits in the body for days, weeks or months.
With essential oils applied via the Raindrop Technique, the body can be brought into balance and the energy centers can be cleared and re-aligned.
Many health professional believe that Fibromyalgia pain is caused by lack of oxygen in the muscles. Here at Orange Blossom Studio we also believe this to be true. We work with each client individually to create their own unique treatment plan. Our focus each session is on the muscles of inhalation and exhalation therefor allowing deeper breathing and more oxygen intake into the body. Breathing techniques are also addressed so that the clients learn how to breathe from the diaphragm, diaphragmatic breathing vs. paradoxical breathing from the belly. There is also a focus on total body relaxation which encourages the body to return to their own “normal” state of homeostasis. Several weekly sessions are encouraged, 12 are optimal so the effects of the massage are lasting.
